Umphrey's McGee performing at the Bonnaroo Mus...

Halloween is a special time of year in San Francisco. As the weather changes, so does the city’s mentality – and since the festivities fall on a Friday this year, you can be certain that the city will be properly celebrating for the occasion – “RE:CREATION Veni Vedi Vici,” one of the most innovative events to hit the Bay Area in some time.

Headliners the New Deal, hailing from Canada, will be bringing their dance-friendly electronic tones to Club 6, offering a whirlwind mélange of break beats, techno and hip-hop. After playing a short set to open for Umphrey’s McGee at the sold-out Warfield down the street.

Some of San Francisco’s premier local talent will also be performing on this bill, amongst them James Christopher, Bender, Pleasure Maker and Kap10 Harris. They are joined by over a dozen local visual artists including Matthew Scott, Julia Craig and Damien King.
